Ah yeah, I remember that. There was a half hour sports round-up. Actually worked really well. I bet the presenter was loving it.

Just a few updates on what World is doing:

1) A special edition of Sport Today went out live a few hours ago, and with News 24 being in N9, they couldn't do it from their usual set. Instead, they did it in TC10, and had a fake Sport Today set backdrop. It looked very professional actually. We also got to see that it is definitely BBC News 24's desk in there!

2) BBC World is now broadcasting in 14:9 from TC10, so News 24 should be able to do 16:9 tomorrow.

3) The News 24 sport set is close by News 24's news set, but it is based in the sports newsroom.

Sorry Rob. You didn't manage to get any captures of Sport Today in TC10 with the News 24 desk?

when will we see a move of studio for News 24? Midnight or after breakfast at 9am?

Aren't overnights coming from N9 anyway for a few months? If so, I'd imagine it would be at 9am tomorrow.

I must say the CSO set is very good. Its hard to tell its fake. Just hope they sort the lighting out. Lets hope News 24 use the right images for the right camera angles!!

I guess so. I think weekends are coming from N9 though or at least next weekend is.

I did not think it would be CSO if they were moving parts of the old set to TC11/TC10 for the 6 weeks!

Yes, it is. However, for the World bulletin, they only used two shots, which did not include a full frontal view of the desk as pictured above.
