Nah see the clock is behind the cameras is it not. BIll & Sian seemed interested in something to their left (our right) in the newsroom. I knew I should have paid attention. lol

To answer Big Brother - yes, the clock is on the wall where they've been looking.

I would imagine the BBC1 bulletins from N6 will be ok, as World will be joined with News 24 from N9. That's what happend last time. During Breakfast, BBC World does it's own thing, then for the rest of the day, when World have summaries, they do them from N6, and for hours when they have a full bulletin, they join with N24.

The only things to the left behind the cameras are the Sport Today and BBC Four sets.

On the issue of the clock I saw Susannah Reid look down at the desk at 10.29 to say what the time was before the start of Young Buck$, perhaps a little clock has been put there now. Couldn't the news readers get the time from their computer screens anyway?

N9 looks very impressive on the wide angle shots in wide screen. All the action in the back ground is great compared to the warehouse of N8.

Yes ENPS has a clock on the screen, wouldn't it make more sense to look down at that rather than at the wall of camera?

Perhaps one of the most bodged News bulletin in BBC News history! The News 24 coming up vamp fading into the World titles doesn't work! And also a mixture of the BBC World astons for Lives and BBC News 24's Old style for reports! Lets hope the vamp is sorted out for the next shared hour!

Where will the Sunday BBC1 10pm bulletin be broadcast from because BBC World has news then aswell, both in the same studio?

As I said earlier, 12pm is a joint bulletin for both N24 and World, and will come from BBC World's normal studio, leaving N6 for BBC One. World are only using BBC One's studio for their summaries.

Em their left is our right. They two were laughing and looking at something in the newsroom (not behind the cameras along to the right of our screen further into newsroom land!), not the clock . But it doesn't matter, I don't want to get into an arguement over where the bloody clock because does it really matter.

How do you know they weren't looking at the clock when a few posts back you didn't know where the clock was? From the posts of others in the know, the clock has been firmly established as being located in the area to which you refer.

Well an interesting day's viewing so far with more to come.

Yes the lunchtime bulletin did look odd, they use News 24's old main aston, but used BBC World's information ticker and even more unusually BBC World's sport graphics, although it's understandable since BBC News 24's graphics are the crappy version of BBC Sport's graphics.

Also what's with the headline sequence, just dosen't sound right does it.

Also why are they using the generic yellow slide on the plasma, it's look worse since you can clearly see the BBC World News slide burnt onto the screen!

I have to agree with one thing though, and it's that BBC News 24's team make better use of the camera shots then BBC World do, nice and wider shots then usual.
