Well, not sure what is going to happen tomorrow morning, but whatever it is I hope it shows some real creativity and flare, rather than the half-arsed copying they have relied on for the past few years.

Yep, echoed here. It was all looking promising for me until the James Dossier appeared, but I might be surprised. I hope it's something new and fresh, something that actually goes some way to improve the channel across the board rather than simple cosmetic changes (and bad ones at that). What is irritating is the fact the creativity is there - it's just not being shown!

It replaced Australia Direct (which was used as a filler numerous times since Friday so they probably got sick of showing that).

Not seen Simpson's World before, it's quite interesting.

Have the astons changed, though?

The BBC World, N24 simulcast is coming from the main BBC National News studio... and there was no bass in the titles Rolling Eyes (bass has just been restored)... Thats N24 coming from 4 studios within 3 days... TC10 CSO studio, World Studio (N9?), National studio ( N6?) and the new N24 studio tomorroW!

Yep - and doesn't the lighting look so much nicer in the BBC One studio?

I can't believe I've stayed up this late to watch the BBC World simulcast, but the news coming from the BBC1 studio does look good.

It probably means nothing but the graphic which separates the headlines (normally a red swoosh across the screen) was yellow. First time I've personally seen that.

No other clues though - astons are exactly the same.

Johnnyboy, I always stay up to see the simulcast cos its the only time u get to see the BBC World titles and music. Am often disappointed however when they play the N24 bed when updating headlines or "in brief" rather than the proper BBC World bed.

Might have to stay up until 2 now to see and hear the BBC World titles with full bass for the last time Sad - has a very powerful crash at the end of the titles before going into the fade... the fade itself is much better than the "old" N24, consisting of two pulses in quick succession, with a longer pause before the two pulses again... well cool...

She was created by Panasonic in 1998 following years of research into a posh robotical news presenter. Earlier prototypes of the PARP (Posh And Robotical Presenter) have been sold at a knock-down price to ITV regional news companies.

Suspect the yellow headline wipe was just a last minute thing - World will presumably have been cutting their headlines to their 'bongs' when they have been in that studio - so they wouldn't have needed the wipe until now. I suspect that is a quick "pretty close" copy they set-up in the absence of the looping logo that is normally used.
