I can't check now, as the clock has been gone for the best part of two days now, but IIRC it was in 24-hour clock anyway on News 24, so I would imagine it would stay like that?

No, wasn't 24 hour.

The News 24 clock WAS 24 hour. ITV and Sky News both use a 12 hour clock but the News 24 one has, for the last two years at least (that's as long as I've been able to watch it) been 24 hours.

I stand corrected! Embarassed

My turn to stand corrected. I'm certain that the News 24 clock has always been 24 hour, but I just turned to the ITV News channel and their clock is now 24 hours too....don't know how long it has been because I'm pretty sure it used to be 12 hour like Sky's. Now back to News 24...

ITV NEWS as always been since it was relaunced under the ITV, when it was under the ITN brand as well it carried it as the 24 hour clock, where have any of you been these past 2 years

Dateline is broadcast live on News 24 at 11.10am, and then rebroadcast at other times during the day on World and Parliament. And it looked just the same as usual today.

(in fact, it's currently on both News 24 and World, but World seem to be a few minutes ahead)

"Hello, this is the head of purchasing for the BBC. I want to check up on the progress of my order for two illuminated white coffee tables for our World and Millbank studios."

Well, I guess they will be updated to fit the rest of the look.
Next stop: the nations & regions (or at least those that haven't already stretched the corporate envelope)...

Sorry if this has been asked/mentioned before, but this thread is 200+ pages long!

Will the relaunch happen at midnight tonight (in under an hour) or will it be later on in the day?

Many thanks,

And apologies if I didn't catch this earlier as well -- but will World be featuring new graphics and things tomorrow? Or is that some weeks away?

(I want to know if I should get up early to watch on BBCA!)

Sorry, my immaturity knows no bounds - I can just see a massive crew running from a mess hall and manning the stations to the tune of the BBC News24 Countdown Razz

Oh and thanks for the confirmation AdamP - like rimless glasses eh!
