lol @ the Sissons mock
Good to see that during the 22:00 N24/World simulcast that the World titles and beds were used
quite evident that the BBC believe their World service is more elevated than the mere N24
our fellow pres addicts in other countries were probably thinking "Who the h*ll are these two"?? lol

Wouldn't count your chickens yet- we still haven't had confirmation from any of the reliable BBC sources, and AdamP (who I believe to be reliable) has visited the new studio and said that the new screens look like any normal screen (that's not to say they aren't holoscreens.
If you're right though- jolly well done old chap
I said they looked like any other projection screen - except they have no frame. They remind me of rimless glasses! I suspect that whatever is projected onto them will look very floaty.

I'm just pleased I predicted the holoscreen idea from a slight discolouration in a photo

Which is why they've just spent about 15% of the annual World budget revamping the "mere" N24, and continue to invest about 2.5 times more money annually in the "mere" N24 than World.
And will people stop quoting that Sissons disco thing- my eyes are going funny just scrolling down this page

Seemingly News 24 and World will be simulcasting from N6 all night, going by what's been said on here.
I wonder if they'll keep it with the fake World backdrop (so as not to befuddle their international viewers), or the regular Nationals background (so the illusion's not shattered for people in this country - in case they ever thought it was really a window behind the desk)

Earlier in this thread someone mentioned that the World studio will have to have some work done before 9am tomorrow. Will this mean that both News 24 and World will be simulcasting from the national news set overnight...or can this be done during Breakfast so only World will need to use the national set?
