Very nice indeed. You couldn't get a video capture of Opening, Closing, break etc of a World bulletin could you Rob Wink If you have the time of course.

It looks really good coming from N6. I'm also interested to see how the temporary News 24 studio looks.

That's a much better backdrop than the normal one. Very nice.

Who is the above news reader by the way? Rather attractive, lol.

The lack of a clock in N9 desk is rather amusing. I noticed Sian and Bill struggling earlier with the time re-caps, and poor old Susanna's just had a sly glance to the wall to get the time.

Nice little quote from Sian this morning:

"Good morning, you're watching Weekend 24 coming from the studios of BBC World today, as we have the builders in, in our usual home"

I suppose people arent meant to know that as the set should look pretty much the same as the old one on monday im guessing - just in a different studio.

Yes, a good quote. I don't think the replica set will be identical , well, for us people with an eye for these things, but I'm sure the general public as a whole wont notice much.

Bill & Sian did actually give us a little bit of info about why they were in the World Studio, that was around 6.15 am (got up early for some *strange* reason) they did only say they were coming from this studio 'this weekend' while the normal News 24 studio get's a revamp.

Was quite funny when I was up as they seemed kind of lost in the studio. Poor old Bill forgot to put his glasses on when doing the papers. Sian thought that was hilarious. Rolling Eyes

*While I remember* The were also looking at something to the far right of the screen in the newsroom. Is that where the clock is, I wasn't listening at the time and missed it?

I wonder where the midday news update on BBC One will come from?

I think N6 is a great studio to use for BBC World, a lot can be done in terms of variation of camera angles and I can't wait to see them do an interview using the huge screens.

Thanks Rob.

Good point regarding the lunchtime bulletin. Could it possibly be the beginning minutes of a bulletin on News 24?

That thing on the wall which we cant see but the presenters can be seen glancing at his a clock.
