[I'd take everything said until you actually see them on Monday with a big pinch of salt.
I was saying exactly the same thing until Marcus' post about how the contents of that email were confidential. Now Marcus has always been an honest and reliable source of BBC information on this forum, so unless he's decided to change tack and increase peoples' surprise on Monday morning by going along with a hoax, I suspect this email (and these images) are genuine.
However, they could still be preliminary mocks and the final product may look somewhat more refined....but I now wager that it will look quite similar.
Lee, lovey, think you are possibly reading too much into this.
Just wait. You really have not got long to go.
Probably.
I don't know why I'm taking part in the speculation anyway. I will only be able to catch the first half an hour or so before I ahve to toodle off for lectures for the rest of the day.
Thinking about it, it's week 12 so I'm not sure if I have lectures that early.

Both Larry Scutta's and Marcus' posts came across to me as a little sarcastic.
Or (and I'm getting a bit consipracy theoryey here) someone sent them to James to test his trust and make him look foolish, and Marcus and Larry Scutta are in on it... which could be the case whether they're real or not.
OK - things are getting a little bit bitchy now. Just to reiterate...
I received an email with the pics attached and I was not instructed in any way not to put them on the internet. Everyone here shows a mutual interest in TV presentation, and I thought they would be of interest.
Personally I don't give a monkeys what the new astons look like. The same with Testcards - I find both astons and testcards incessantly boring, but there are a handful of people here, who are interested.
I've also said that the pictures posted were just drafts. I didn't catagorically say that 'This is exactly what the new astons look like'.
As for anagrams, I think the majority of people on this forum know my true identity, and I don't particularly care either way. I have nothing to hide, unlike some.

Yes but by sending it to someone who they know is (and I'm presuming they would) a TV Forum member, they should expect it to be uploaded. It's a pretty silly thing to do.

Yes it would be very silly as they could get into serious trouble.

I have 233 read emails in my inbox from the start of October. 28 of them are from bbc.co.uk addresses. I rarely read the small print, but I fail to see how 3 compressed JPG's of 3 dodgy mocks are going to bring the BBC into disrepute or create a serious lapse in confidentiality.
Talk about making a mountain of a molehill!
If you feel that strongly, Marcus & Larry, I shall remove the images. I'm not here to p*ss anyone off, even if I do think you're being rather petty about this.
