could we not have another round of bitching, please?

These problems are probably because of the equipment being upped + moved to the main studio.

There in the world set? So technically everything that is normally there is still there with all the n24 stuff being in the temp CSO set... surely? So News 24 should have the least disruption today.

fair point, the bulk of the equitment will probley be moved today, but way in gods name are the presenters so confused, this is N24, this is BBC News, which one? all it would take is for someone to difine if this is N24, or a simpular cast on BBC World.

in my inane laziness, i just got up to see Tim Wilcox broadcasting News 24 from the World set. Where is World now broadcasting from then... it isnt being simulcast cos Wilcox said "Welcome to BBC News 24" at the top of the hour, as opposed to the more generic "This is BBC News".

Apologies if this has already been discussed Embarassed

Right the BOLD bits are your spelling/context mistakes for you to work on for future posts.

I think it's highly unlikely that the weekend shift to the new studio could have been carried out without incident...I imagine it is actually quite a complex procedure and adapting World's presentation suite to N24 standards can't be easy. At least this means they are doing something for the relaunch and not waiting for power to be restored!

None of the bulletins so far today have been joint bulletins - News 24 has been broadcasting its own service from N9, while BBC World has been doing its own thing in TC10. So, I'm not sure why the presenters are confused about what they're doing.

They're in N24's CSO set (TC10) with a CSO of their usual newsroom background.

Have you got any captures of World coming from TC10?
