It's Christmas . . . NOT Xmas.

Also, i was surfin the TVHome site last night and saw some black and orange/gold idents for BBC World News... how old are these???

These were launched Last year following the launch of BBC Four News.

And I wonder what might be the next BBC News output to get a new look in the early new year Laughing Wink

The new music is very good.

It's basically the current music, but given a new beat. The pips on the up to the hour count down have gone, and I think you'll like it.

Not the usual presenters this morning on News24.. perhaps a sign that the regulars are doing a pilot in the new studio this morning?

Yeah I thought that. Adrian and Carrie this morning. But Joanna hasn't been on all week so presumably shes been doing something with the relaunch?

Actually I think she's on holiday.

I doesnt look like Joanna is on holiday as she's on this evening. Jon Sopel and Louise Minchin are not there in their regular slot so I'm guessing they are now rehearsing on the new set and Joanna and Phil were doing the same this morning in their regular slot... too much of a coincidence to have two pairs of presenters away in one day.. and then have one of them back in the evening (ie Joanna).

Any insider can confirm??

Woops - its Friday already..! Where did my week go?! Shocked

Anyway, its not the regulars and if Joanna is not on holiday why didnt she do her regular shift?

Who cares? Aren't people allowed a day off? And so what if they are rehearsing in the new studio, we're not going to find out either way!

Where the BBC (News 24) allowed to show the World Cup 2006 qualifing stages draw today? All this week Sky Sports News have been building it up as Exclusive, ITV News Channel, Sky News and Eurosport/Eurosport News didnt show any of it live but BBC News 24 showed the UEFA bit of the draw live.

I do. Obviously they will rehearse, but its just been strangely quiet since the last power failure with regard to the relaunch... nothing has been said so im just hoping they do relaunch soon!
