Catch that one while you can ... four new countdown's from the re-launch

Intriguing comment #2: does this mean that the "people" countdowns are being

a) replaced with something completely different
b) replaced with four new people countdowns
b) expanded with four new people countdowns
?

You BBC News staff are such a tease!

Someone somewhere said that they were to be different ones for different times of day (I think).

3 days 11 hours 38 minutes...

PS: It's no big deal, there are four different "South Today" ones (summer and winter, south coast and oxford versions)

I wouldn't say those nice new BBCi screens have anything to do with the BBC News changes, more just something new for BBCi, a bit nicer than the old blue ones.

There's also a version with the 'i' in a box for interactive programmes.

i havent seen any trails for the relaunch yet, you would of thought the BBC would advertise the new and improved N24 a few days or so before the relaunch!!, prehaps not if its being put back again!!!! Evil or Very Mad

They really don't want to f*ck up this relaunch so it wouldn't surprise me if they've delayed it once more while the power problems persist.

What surprises me is that you say 5th Jan....I would have thought Dec 15 would still be feasible technically (bit early for people to start leaving for Xmas Hols), but maybe they don't want their main "anchors" (who will be presumably trailed heavily before the relaunch) to disappear on their hols within days of the relaunch.

Any confirmation on the delay from NickyS or Marcus?

Except the CSO is in a different part of TVC to Stage 6 where the nationals and News 24 usually come from.
