I have heard that when the national news introduces new titles and theme, there will be a new backdrop in the studio. They will get rid of the fake newsroom!!!

Does anyone know if they will replace it with the real newsroom, or something else?

I wouldn't expect more than a new video loop.

It's a loop of video... The projected image behind the presenters in the National studio is a short clip which is repeatedly looped - far less expensive than computer generating thirty minutes' worth of virtual newsroom.

I mentioned it in the other News 24 thread, but it should go here really...

Have they dismantled the 2nd set yet as Business Today came from the corner of the main set last night.

Looks like it, as it doesn't seem as though they have been using the second set for the anaylsis part in the second hour which they often have done.

Perhaps this has been already moved to the temporary studio, if indeed the temporary studio will have a second set.

I read on DigitalSpy that they'll be in a spare TVC studio for up to 6 weeks, so I presume they will need a second set there if that's true!

REALLY??? Seems a bit odd considering its less than a year old?? Unless that is they have received an overload of letters from viewers asking why the same people are always on shift? hehe. Sounds like news 24 will go in teh direction of the national news Chrome and red etc..... The current background has lots of chrome and red so it seems strange that they'd change it again?

I know that it has been less than a year, but people have complained that it is too obvious that it is a fake newsroom. On BBC daytime updates you can see the real newsroom, but on the 1,6+10 it is the fake newsroom, it looks pathetic. It does not look very busy for the world's largest news gathering team. As mentioned on another thread designs have been discussed for a new backdrop, I hope that it is the real newsroom.

I agree, it would look really good if the brought back a similiar backdrop like the old studio, except don't mirror the backdrop and don't paint in any red panels across the top balcony

Are we sure we're getting more red?

The music is getting "tweaked" or "buggered with" or "slightly modified" or whatever you want to call it. What about the colours? I heard something about chrome?
