Here's a boring thing I noticed. The "Charles" trailer they showed after the 10 o clock programme on News 24 was 2 weeks old.

Out of Australia Direct back to the World studio, introduced as BBC News 24.

Guess we're not going back to TC10 for a while - surely they'd have run the N9 feed through TC10 to add the DOG and clock as soon as Huw was done with it if they were planning to go back there soon.

Newsnight looks to be happenning as usual from Studio 7

Isn't the 2nd half of most hours on World not from the news studio?

World would have taken an ad break in the middle of Australia Direct and gone straight to their wetaher after the end of the programme.

I wonder who will be making the active decision to rename the channel temporarily 'BBC NEWS Hybrid'?

World didn't take Australia Direct, and instead showed Asia Business Report and World Business Report (both 15mins), so when she did the link for News 24 world were still in World Business Report.

They're now back to a joint broadcast.
