Straight into 60 seconds of countdown there.

Same on World (but the World countdown)...now back to Mishal.

How would that have been done? Is N9 patched directly into the N24 transmission chain and they played out the News24 version and World Pres played the World version?

Well they manage two seperate countdowns during overnight simulcasting so they probably used whatever setup they normally use for that.

Has Huw mentioned anything yet about the change of scenery?

BBC World should Simulcast with News 24 more often

And thinking more long term........will there be implications for tomorrow mornings programmes..........e.g. Breakfast, and European Breakfast on BBC World.......could we have another possible simulcast

Whatever next... let's hope Monday runs smoothly.

Is TV Centre like a set of old Christmas lights where if one bulb goes, the whole lot goes out?

The CSO doesn't work so well with grey-haired people (look at Sissons on the weekend), sombody should have sent an email to all BBC news presenters to get their hair dyed just in case
