Ah but it's not the real BBC World without the BBC World DOG... otherwise you can't prove it's the real BBC World!

The presenter just said that it's BBC World so it must be! Very Happy

Yep, it is BBC World - I've been flicking between the two, and it's virtually the same on both - the only difference is the BBC WORLD DOG on the real BBC World! Looks like N24 are taking a feed from N9.

Just handed to a special edition of Asia Today now. They have to get at least 10 minutes of WBR, in order to replay it later on in the evening on both World and N24 - usually WBR is still on at this time on World.

Notice how the monitors in the background are switched off?

Indeed.

Are they on a different phase to the gallery (and the monitors that are on), or is the newsroom just on reduced power?

Is this edition of Asia Today live?

I cannot believe this is happening *again*.

However - should be interesting between 2200 and 2235 on BBC ONE.

Reduced power I assume. Grabbing any last volt by the look of it.

Perhaps they'll take BBC World as well (you all wish!!)

any word on whether the 10 will be from Millbank, just in case?

This is all rather invigorating...

Face it - this is a helluva lot more interesting than the relaunch will ever manage to be (unless the floor caves in or something which would probably be moderately amusing).

I'm not sure about that - IIRC, the Asia Today which goes out at 2345 is recorded (I believe they record it earlier on in the evening - usually 2030 IIRC), so if they managed to record it earlier, then it will be, but if not, it might be live? If it is live, then they prepared it very quickly!

Ooh I wonder what happened there. Asia Today got cut off mid-report and we were back with the BBC World newsroom.

Asia Today just cut to back then returned to a slightly startled newsreader in N9
