Are they simulcasting BBC World? They're in the BBC World Newsroom but there's not a single person in it.

News 24 seem to be taking World at the moment - they're currently in a live edition of World Business Report.

At 2100, the small screens on the back walls of N9 were blank, as were most of the monitors on the desks - which is a very rare sight!

There isn't usually very many people in N9 at this time of the evening, as the only programme to go out after 2200 is the news until 0030 - then it's shutdown for the night (usually, anyway - not sure whether overnights are still coming from N9). During the daytime, it's usually packed with journalists working on lots of programmes, including Asia Today etc.

Ah but it's not the real BBC World without the BBC World DOG... otherwise you can't prove it's the real BBC World!

Indeed - highly surreal. Perhaps slightly off-shot there's a raging fire, and Sarah (?) is being held at gunpoint to keep waffling on about euros and airlines etc.

Well it's definitely BBC World... and the presenter obviously doesn't know she's on a simulcast.

The presenter just said that it's BBC World so it must be! Very Happy

Incedentally, the schedule for BBC World on DigiGuide shows WBR as being half an hour... but now we're watching Asia Today.
