Are we sure that the daytime titles are the "way of the future"? They seem too simple to be impressive somehow (minimalism isn't in vogue in the UK right now is it?).

I think we'll get some more 'People Graphics' seen as it is all the rage right now.

*Off Topicish*
McDonalds is doing this by removing all their window posters of food and replace them all with happy people.... dunno why most people who go to McDonalds only look like their skint, cheap or in the mood to pick a complaint.

is there something going on at the Westminister studio as they seem to be using a camera shot of Big Ben rather than the open backdrop.

Could this be where News2 4 will be broadcasting from when their set is being rebuilt?

I think the idea is that the titles will follow suite for the daytime bulletin titles. I think that we may also see the change of the BBC 1 main+ breakfast titles as soon as news 24 is relaunched, plus maybe a tweaking to the graphics.

AFAIK, that isn't anything new - I've seen loads of interviews from the CSO of Big Ben before now.

I hadn’t though anything of it until I saw on the far right of the screen it was coming from the usually place just with the cso background behind the interviewee.

You could see it was the Westminster. Bit strange Confused

For some reason, Philip and Joanna are presenting the main news from the News 24 "second set" - looks a bit odd.

The main set now in the process of being revamped ?

Hmmm! Are they moving early - or is the a/c playing up again!?

Is it just me, or does anyone else think this actually looks BETTER than the regular News 24 set? Laughing

Don't think it's A/C because it's in the same studio, simply a case of turning the cameras round...

Probably because of the Hutton thing this morning, presumably they'll put something up in the screen behind them.

It's on BBC2 too
