We've seen better mocks on here than this still that accompanied the countdown music on News 24 Smile

I'm sure the 1 o'clock sting started of with "24" in it but had "1" on in it for the final part of the sting.

Yes, exactly what I thought.

Another article about the power cut, this time from the Breakfast website.

We all know Bill and Sian can ad lib for ever... what would have happened on any other day of the week?

Just watched that sting back, no stray 24 that I can see

There was no countdown on N24 - just a still caption of the 1 O'clock logo with something along the lines of, "The One O'Clock news follows on News 24" written at the bottom. The countdown music was played over this.

The 'new' 1 O'clock News logo, by the way.

EDIT: That capture above makes this post redundant. Can't keep up with this thread!

The power is still not fully on at TVC. It is hoped to get news bulletins running again from TVC after 1600 today. Some news bulletins will transfer to Millbank again over the wekend so power can be properly restored. The lack of full power means it is impossible to run News 24 pilots that's why the launch is delayed

Hardly surprising. If they can't find a copy of the real countdown they can always download the music off the net! Smile

The One from Westminster is using News 24 astons. Dodgy camera shots too.

Exactly 60 seconds of the countdown music - maybe the last time we'll have that much (of this music at least)? Smile

I hope that power is restored - else we could end up with CBBC on One being presented from the Westminster studios.

LOL

Also the astons seem to be covering up the LIVE graphic. Does this happen on News 24 normally Confused:
