pre-recorded weather from Carol on the breakfast sofa

There playing Carol's weather bulletin now from 9.15 and the times still there obviously. Wonder what'll happen at the top of the hour. Not a lot probably... As I speak they've put that black line at the bottom.

The autocue is screwed, the strap is a re-creation of the news 24 one, not the same graphics set. no clocks or Live Dogs or Channel identifyer.

I think they whould stay put in the westminster studio, rather then stuff news 24 back in that CSO shoebox. But they need some information straps sorted, as well as a proper autocue. The presenters looking at their scripts is very offputting.

Weather is in the Breakfast Studio, with VT running from tape. That cant last, because they have to get the breakfast set taken down for Working Lunch!

Ah-ha - the black bar is blocking out the clock - they forgot to fade it up for a sec just now when showing a recording of Carol doing the weather on the Breakfast set...

The caeserian section story must be a recording from earlier, with the big bulky BBC NEWS clock; the black bar didn't quite cover it.

Very dodgy top of the hour - cut straight from Carol to the studio; Darren gave a summary of the developments at Westminster, then the N24 sting, and straight into the news.

Would have thought that this would have been a prime opportunity for a 90 second countdown to fill some time, assuming they had a copy of it at Millbank.

Why does Darren keep referring to a "suspected" power cut?

90 second countdown

It seems like they'd have to go back through on air recordings to find one. So maybe by the next break.
