BBC World seems to be back in their studio now - or at least running without the "RECORDED" dog.

All the cameras need an operator. Some have a person behind the camera, some are controlled remotly by the Director or by a racks engineer.
That's what I was meaning really, as TC7 is a normal studio that will use someone behind the camera, isn't that the same in the nationals studio?
Although thinking about it as the nationals is in Stage 5 or 6 it will be affected by the same problems I guess

BBC World has just put out an appology for the problems earlier, and say that they now have everything sorted and back to normal - so definately live.

Maybe they want to make sure that everything is back up and working properly - they wouldn't want their lovelly CSO'd set to disappear or something half way though.

how hard would it have been to get LDN or Manchester to do the morning update on BBC1.... seems that they could have done this, and it would have saved embarassment, and we would have all got excited.....
