Back to the BBC relaunch, I wonder what effect this will have on Weekend 24 and Breakfast on Sunday? Bill and Sian are going to have such fun with the new set - I can't wait to hear their comments on it! As I don't have digital TV, Breakfast is the only real chance I get to see the new set in action.

Won't be this Sunday - relaunch is on Monday so Breakfast and Weekend 24 will have to stay in TC10 until the next weekend.

Just a quick question, which I hope someone can answer:

It has been puzzling me for a while with the backdrop of the CSO News 24 studio. It is recorded but from when?? Is it looped?

Thanks

Eh? Can't you just guess? Rolling Eyes

It must have been recorded when the presenters weren't there - either overnight while they were in World or more likely during business today or sports day, or at the top of the hour.

And of course it's a loop otherwise they'll have needed to record 2 months worth of backdrop!

Wouldn't be that much effort, you can get those 3 month videotapes in Dixons.

Yeah, but you'd need a clear shot of the background for 3 months! Can't see that somehow with the cleaners, engineers - oh and newsreaders - being in the way!

Yes. Of course. How stupid of me. Oh well, I'm off to watch a three month videotape. See you in February.

Ooooh. It loks a bit grey from the scan but if you take the contrast up and brightness down it looks really good.

Not hugely different from the last one, what with the big 24 etc, but on the whole it like it.

Can't wait to see it animate.

....oh, and thanks AdamP!!! Very Happy

Hmmmmmmmm. I'm waiting until Monday when it will look better, I'm sure. But I'm not too sure about that!

Wouldn't it be funny if this was part of the secrecy thing and the logo in Ariel was a decoy with the real one waiting until Monday!
