I've heard something about big red circles...

Sounds worrying... are all of the titles for news 24/world/national being created in-house?

The big red circles was regarding the studio. I'm unsure about the titles, but I believe they are being created by Lambie-Nairn.

I read on the ITV News thread that they're showing the England Rugby players as they arrive back from Australia at 5am tomorrow.

Does anyone know if the BBC have anything planned? News 24 I'm sure would usually cover it but at 5am they usually simulcast The World Today with BBC World and BBC1. Or is this just an ITV thing as they had the rights to the RWC?

Teletext TV guide on Freeview has a programme called Extra Time with Jonny Wilkinson on News 24 at 4:30am, but nothing about opting out from TWT though.

News 24 are promising coverage from 5am too.

An extra hour for the joint service anchor or will they get someone in specially?

If you did have "insider knowledge" I would assume that you would have some contact with the BBC, probably by working there. I am almost certain that the BBC would not employ anyone lacking such basic spelling, punctuation, vocablulary and grammar skills. Now p*ss off back to school kiddo.

Did anyone see the future Business Today aston, it was like the current one, but the astons had squares, the bottom text was bold and it had the Business Today above the clock, I guess the clock will still be plopped in it's current position.

Perhaps he means that the titles will have pictures from the news included in them?

So this hour we'd have pictures of the England team, some pictures of Europe and some people smoking.

Sort of like Channel 4 news?

Sounds good and fresh... If it's true.

I'm sure the BBC could take off that depresive black edge Channel Four News has.

Yeah but C4 News just need to do it once a day - not once an hour!
