Stories seen on BBC News on the telly can normaly also be found on the BBCi website. Not so this one: http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/beds/bucks/herts/3143677.stm about a 13 year old who's been rejected from uni for bring too young! The BBCi England News homepage is also missing the corresponding image. Some top story!!! No good if it ain't there! I persume the story features on the downloads there, and when stories become obsolete, they're usually archived, so something is wrong.

Why does one single page on BBCi being down warrant a whole thread (in the main forum, too)?

Why would BBCi "delete things", anyway! It's just a small error, and I'm sure will be corrected soon...

It's the top English story! Which thread did you expect me to append this to anyway?

You could have, you know....left it out completely because in consistency with the majority of your posts, it has no real meaning, use or contribution value.

Well it's working now, anyway...

Just not much of a talking point, Digifiend, is it.

Why was that interesting in any way? It was a minor mistake - I often see pictures linked to the internal testing servers that are corrected pretty quickly.

You are really turning into a troll now DF - all you do is post rubbish in every single thread. Either bog off (prefered) or just post when necessary.

Digifiend, you're bordering on the obsessive with this 'perfect websites' lark. It has absolutely nothing to do with television/presentation and shouldn't be in this forum. It's not even right for The Lounge. If you're that concerned, you should contact the BBC on that feedback form they give you on Error 404 pages.

Seriously, stop clogging up this forum, reduce your post count and be more thoughtful in your posts.
