It's Sophie Raworth and George Alagiah not Darren Jordan who take over the Six O'Clock News from Monday 13th January.
I hadn't thought about Dermot or Natasha but it was sent around the forum when Dermot got the breakfast job that he'd get 'used' for more BBC programmes. Dermot would be good on the Six as he's used to both the Evening and Lunchtime news from ITN as well as Breakfast for his BBC News induction.
Natasha though I haven't seen much apart from Breakfast which is most certainly 'lighter' than any other news bulletin so I don't know how good she'd be.
