Excuse me, I think it generally works the other way around in this forum, people going about telling me how good the BBC is and how bad any other network is.
Evidently there IS something wrong with the BBC, otherwise that article would not have appeared in a national newspaper.
And you honestly think that is a TINY hitch? I mean, political coverage is perhaps one of the most important things of a news organisation.
And will you calm down, I know you work for the BBC, but try not to get so uptight about it, I can read in small case you know.

Hahah, you don't like someone telling the truth.
My point is, you are all going about saying the BBC is the best at this, the BBC is the best at that, and I am showing you it isn't, in fact, if anything, it has been proven to be the worst.
And bail, If I were to do what you wanted me to do, and if the media world were to do that then that would essentially be censorship!
Saying only good things isn't what a forum is about.

I think what most people have done is say in their opinion they like BBC News or think it's the best. You shouldn't really say they're wrong. You're entitled to your own opinion but the way you seem to project your opinion in most cases seems a bit brash. OK, so we all have our opinions on BBC News. Lets chat about them, but arguing will get us no where. Sort it out people. Except the views of others and play nice.

No, I am just sick to death of people going about saying BBC News is better than anything else, and The BBC is free so it must be better and It has more people than anyone else (That is, infact, not true).
So I just want you all to get it into your head's that the BBC is not the greatest thing to land on this planet, like you all seem to think it is!
I mean, look at page 1 of the forum, BBC this, BBC that, BBC something else.
Just give it a rest will you! They have some good presentiation, but it is by no means the best!
I expect this new ITN thread entitled 'ITN Countdown is better' will be flooded with 'BBC Is really good blah blah blah'.

I don't seriously dislike the BBC, I am just trying to get it into the heads of about 98% of the forum users that it is not the best thing in the world, ever!

I'm afraid it is the best for news coverage.
Most people trust BBC News!

So the BBC is not the best, because the labour party have kicked up a stink about the coverage, as I said earlier I would prefer the BBC not to be in the pocket of the government. As far as I am concerned all politicians, regardless of party status get the same treatment on the BBC.

No, I missed an earlier point, about taking risks?
You see, taking risks is all about taking a risk, and then getting it right!
You see, the BBC have not actually taken a risk here...
They have simply made their news irrelevant.
Other broadcasters takes lots of risks, yet they are never critisised in the process.
The BBC has been slammed by the government twice now in the the space of about 3 months for getting it totally wrong, and reporting the news falsely, essentially, this is called a lie.
