Interesting news today as Broadcast reported that the BBC was the most trusted news organisation for this election. 78% of people trusted the impartiality of the Beeb, with 74% for ITN. Funnily enough, no mention whatsoever of Sky News?(!) How on earth could an established and respected media magazine forget them?

Also, the Daily Mail today reported that,
'In an election marked by spin and triviality, one organisation to emerge with credit is the BBC...
...It's reporting and analysis of the campaign, so far, has been even-handed and objective.'

Just thought I'd mention, as seen as some people don't seem to associate the Beeb with 'impartiality'. Maybe it's time to give credit where credit is due, on this campaign's reporting and not the opinions of previous election coverage?

Cheers,
Asa

From my relatively limited experience with BBC News, I have to say that it is, by far, the most impartial news organisation in the world. Some reporters and presenters lean in certain directions, but you really can't do much about that…

Is Sky considered more sympathetic to the conservatives (or is that what is alledged)? Because Fox News over here his always considered sympathetic to the Republicans. They try to show themselves off as 'Fair and Balanced' -- but they are the most biased news organisation in the world.
