I don't like correcting the Great God Asa, but there is one. Chances are though it'll never get aired - Net2 rarely, if ever, have a reason to show a clock

Sorry. Bit Large but I thought I'd give you a full 800x600 preview. Just a sample of what's to come.

is that just a guess at how it will be, or is it drawn from insider info? the reason i ask is because i would have imagined, they would keep the clock rather reserved (ie, suitable for introducing the news). here's a mock i posted a few days ago in the mock forum, of how i would have designed it:

That is just a guess. But I would guess it's probably fairly accurate.
Techy Peep might have some inside info.

I didn't think it was worth starting a new thread for this, so here goes...
I've just heard Phil Hayton say that BBC News 24 has recieved a reward for its coverage of Breaking News and the likes on and since the Sept 11th disaster. I must say that I have been extremely impressed with the way presenters handled the breaking news, and I was also impressed with the BBC News Specials which were running for about 2 months after Sept 11th.

I would be almost certain there will be no BBC2 clock, considering the clock has only been used twice on network BBC2 in the past year, and they were both unscheduled. I think clocks are now regarded as old fashioned, and the delay on digital services makes them inaccurate anyway and therefore pointless.

Hmmm. Ikonboard playing up again. Give me signature back Andy!
:
I'm not sure that BBC Two do have a clock. Would there be any point if they never used the old one? Something needs to be done though - there's no real serious ones yet!

The signature problem is a result of people changing usernames. It's nothing to worry about.
Yep, it's from the opposite side of the N24 main desk but it goes on until 4.30pm on BBC Two. Sounds like an excuse to include the main news at 4pm to me... Not very subtle.
Also, I see in Broadcast that the War on Terrorism will be a barometer for how well N24 have done in the forthcoming investigation into the channel (postponed again).
Also in Broadcast today: A full page yellow background with 'ITV1 and 2 now on Sky' and written underneath in smaller type 'We've been expecting you' http://web.ukonline.co.uk/tv.home/forum/emoticons/biggrin.gif - Nice dig!
Cheers, Asa

'Broadcast' is the magazine that all media-gurus and workers read if they want to know what's going on and when. As I am not a regular reader I cannot tell you more!!
