It was exactly the same as yesterday. They had the countdown, the overnight bed, followed by the BBC News ident (overnight), and Sian said 'This is BBC News. I'm Sian Williams'
So they postponed Breakfast.

I saw today at 11 that they had the news then at 11.10, it went to Dateline London.
Does this normally happen? I thought Dateline London was only shown at 30 mins past the hour.

Dateline is a 50 minuite program shown on Both News 24 and Worlld. The first edition goes out at 11:10 on news 24 then an hour later on World and then in the evening on both channels the program is cut to 30 mins.
No, the main Dateline London is always shown at that time on a Sunday. I presume the other programmes are edited from this one.

Just an observation, BBC World are now back in N9. For the first time since friday, the overhead studio shot was shown. This was the 11 bullitain, the 10 was still in TC7.
Nicky Mentioned the 'Frosted' Studio. And somebody else Noticed frosted purple pains in the backround of world. so.......
Why do I get the feeling that they are using BBC News 24's Flags frosted panels. I think I might of caught a glimpse of them yesterday and so they may be adapting them for the BBC World studio.
Does anyone have any screen shots of those panels when on News 24? They were actually quite nice and were used in the soft area.
So does anyone have video files of World in N6/TC7 for us in the UK????
You could see no visible difference apart from wideshots weren't used. The chromakey was done particularly well and you had to look VERY closely to even notice a difference.

Uh huh. The CSO was done very well, I bet half the world, sorry nearly all of the world didn't notice (Accept us of course)
For those who missed the excitment, it's all happening again next weekend, although wilth a lot more coming from News24. N9 will be out of action from 0030 Sat until 0600 Monday

Oh, no! I hate the BBC World tune!
BTW: What do you call the bit after the headline when the titles are playing. Is it the sting? If so, I hate that on BBC World when on BBC News 24!
No, that is simply the opening titles. A sting is a short version of the opening titles. The proper name of the headline bed is a vamp, and if the vamp is followed by a small piece of music, such as a thunderclap, this is called at Tag.
