No that's happened before when the technical equipment in World crashed with only a few minutes ti tge top of the hour. They took News 24 for half an hour.

Ah yes, the old BBC WORLD graphics.

They were used up until the 1997 relaunch, some of you may remember they were used for the BREAKING NEWS on the night of the Princess Diana coverage.

I thought 'Breaking News' wasn't permitted for royal deaths.

I go away for two hours and the topic goes to 5 pages since I last posted. Damn you Sainsbury's.
Well I just got �in and caught the 3 o clock bullitan with Miss Navratnam from N9 so it is only techny stuff today.
This must be a change then, any clues to how the set will look like Nicky?

You know what Gary, I doubt it news 24's set is fine as it is from the point of view of the BBC Directors, there only reniewing the World set because they picked up on what I said in anouther thread. The BBC World studio is messy.

No, the 10 min summaries aren't from N9. They are from N6, with a CSO of the BBC World Newsroom behind. Thats why theres no background noise!

News 24's studio is to dark, dull, empty, boring.

World's studio is bright, open, bustling, interesting.

They should swap studios, i think, bbc world spend less time in the studio, where as news 24 is there almost 24 hours a day, news 24 should get the more interesting set.

I believe new astons are in the works, the purple may be going to an orangy colour, ONLY A RUMOR...

I want news 24 to change their idents, perhaps something like their new 'beacause the news never ends.' trailers...
