at 11.00 BBC News 24 seems to be outputing to BBC World aswell as the headline bed was the same as used overnight and Maxine simply said 'This is BBC News' - why?

Noticed that - I was listening to the audio feed of BBC World and wondered why the headline bed was world but the opening music was N24.

This is because at weekends, World is coming from N24, as they are renevating the studio for this new Business programme.

So, what happening?

BBC World is seeing the BBC News 24 opening ident? If so, why not leave the headline bed the same as usual, so use the BBC News ident?

Also, is World having their own coutdown and BBC WORLD ident, followed by Maxine?

Well i'll have a look for you at the next hour, I missed 11 o- clock and I don't understand how they could play News 24's ident to the World anyway.
What did happen though was that they showed the generic sting and just now on BBC World that rarely heard Weather break filler.

Hang on, if the two have merged whats going to happen at 1900 BST when Anna and Chris come on. Last time when BBC World were switching to the Corporate style they came from a different set, what will happen this time, will there be new idents and stings on world?

Am I the only one who doesn't like the BBC World sting?

At 1200, it sounded really stupid.
