SIX MILLION A WEEK! Not day.
Tony is a bit funny with the media, he is normally very timid but a few weeks ago gave interviews to all three networks.
and Mp's watch news channels more than anyone else!!
They have it, it's what they do best.
And you can call it out of date, but the gap has actually become wider, if you look at the BARB audience figures for last week, news24 is way behind.

news 24 probably is still behind, its still a baby compared to sky news. give it a few years, it will eventually catch up. news 24 has only been on the air three and a half years, its only just found the right presentation. (the flags were good but not suited for a news channel)

It undoubtably will, however it hasn't happend in the US yet and the rivals to CNN are about 2 years older than their UK counterparts.
Here is a weird thought, and I know this is a TV forum but they are related, honest!
ABC have done it in the US, will the BBC do it over here...
Rather cryptic isn't it!
I am talking about radio jingles.
The current Five Live jingle has run for over 2 years now, and to be quite honest, I hate it. It is not a patch on the old one, which was amazing.
I know they are totally redoing Five Live very soon, with Fi Glover moving to Late Night Live and Brian Alexander moving to Breakfast at weekends (bye bye Bill Turnbull)
Oh god, it's thundering here.
But anyway... when they do all the changes will the jingle be changed to one like generic BBC News?
I hope so because the current one is crap.
Incidentally is anyone listening to this new media show on FL at the mo? It's quite good.

Regarding webspace, the only reason I mentioned it before was because of several posts which weren't particularly erm..relevent!
I have a set amount of website and bandwidth which I pay for but I wouldn't have set the forum up if I didn't think their servers could cope
So please don't worry about webspace! The recent discussions on the forum have been great - long may it continue!
Cheers, Asa
