The BBC Manchester Online web cam of a fish tank has been withdrawn after complaints that it was cruel.
BBC Manchester Online set up the “Fish Cam” two weeks ago, but was forced to take it offline when an RSPCA supporter spotted that the 9 inch cube tank wasn't properly equipped for that type of tropical fish. Now Richard Fair the man that came up with the idea has taken the fish home to his own acuarium to add to his collection though he will be racking his brains to find something to replace the fish cam.
Any Suggestions?

I've got a suggestion! A proper StudioCam - like East Midlands Today, where you can see more of the studio!

They must have read this forum! They now have a games cam (?) and a desk cam!

If regional news can have web cams in the studio why not have one in the national studio.
Or take a live stream from the camera in the newsroom that is used in NR6 as the background
