he was obviously tired and wanted to go to bed.

Or was simply fed up with doing the lottery yet AGAIN and wanted to go out for another HUGE meal.

He could teach John Prescott a thing or two about eating.

He's just not used to standing up after sitting behind a desk for the last twenty years.

Is 'Come and Have A Go' returning in 2 weeks time, after Jet Set finishes next week?

Jet Set has had their latest series extended for another coupe of weeks. The show should end on 17th June.

Not sure if "Come and Have a Go" has been recomissioned but Dale Winton are currently recording nine shows for the fifth series of In In It To Win It.

In It to Win It is quite good actually. But I really hope Come and Have a Go doesn't return for a third series. Julian Clary was dreadful, making a crude connotation out of every question, and having that woman newsreader ask most of the questions. I do miss Winning Lines though.

Julian Clary was dreadful but that made it even more watchable - surely, Dale Winton's In It To Win It needs to be retired now. It is so yawnsome. Clary's caustic comments about the questions, the public and Vanessa Feltz was top notch stuff! Is Come and Have A Go returning???

Nope. Entirely the opposite. I find Clary to be totally repugnant, and any show he hosts is totally unwatchable!

No, I disagree. "In It To Win It" is a decent quiz that I think could work as standalone quiz spun off from the Lottery.

Vanessa Feltz ... there's another reason why the show was utter cr*p!

For the love of God, I bloody well hope not, especially if Clary is chosen to host it!

Vanessa Feltz......its as if he couldn't think of any other slightly overweight person. Rolling Eyes His comedy has become so dated and he obviously has trouble with gags etc.

Is it only me who misses The National Lottery Live, a simple 15-minute programme which ran a good causes feature and did the draw?

I've never seen any justification at all for trying to extend the lottery draws into a significant part of the schedule in the manner which is now well ingrained- it's always struck me as the BBC still trying desperately to replace Noel's House Party..

Make the lottery draw the lottery draw. Make the associated paraphanalia what it really is - a totally different and completely unrelated programme.

With a fab theme tune too.

There was a conspiracy theory that the reason they drag it out is because a programme has to be over a certain length to be recognised by BARB for ratings purposes.

In most other European Countries the Lotto draw isn't even a programme, more a junction item. Never understood why the BBC have persisted with a gameshow element to the programmes.

Many of the Lottery Gameshows have been truly dreadful. What was that mad thing with Anthea Turner where contestants got bungee'd up into the air?

I think the original plan was to incorporate this into Noels House Party but Noel possibly refused this idea although he did present the first ever Lottery show but was away from the great house.
