Oo er! Think of the endless innuendo possibilities.
That is why I added the Strictly Baking name. It would cause a conversation.
If I was the boss behind Master chief I be pitching
Master Baker
first thing tomorrow.

Thank god. Whether you like them or hate them, I really do trust Channel 4. Would have been a predictable nightmare if ITV nabbed the show all over again, replacing hosts and judge with predictable choices. The good quality programmes which I really like and trust has already been on channel 4, just in overly different cases over the years.

Then back to ITV in the mid 90s before being axed by them in the early 2000s. He then went back to the BBC where they created Strictly especially for him.

reading the guardian comments thread about how loads of people are now going to stop watching it now it's on a commercial channel must be scraping the already empty barrel of what passes for intelligence.
i think it's come to something in our evolution as a species where a bunch of adults (at least some of them must be mentally fit) will sit and watch a load of random people waving their arms and fannying around with biscuits for an hour and will actually get emotional about it, even more so when it changes channel.
a disappointing day for all of mankind.

Reminds me a bit of when ITV tried to snatch Dallas from the BBC:

That is just a scenario you've made up in your own head though. There is no proof that ITV would have changed the format. There is also no proof that Channel 4 won't change the format.

I hope this was a case of the BBC offering less money and Love Productions not being happy, rather than Love demanding more money and the BBC couldn't offer it to them. I don't like the thought of a production company getting too big for its boots and asking for more funds from a cash-strapped broadcaster.
