Well they said the same about Mel & Sue, even though neither of them has been doing any regular programmes for the BBC
Though Mel is presenting the new Saturday night Gary Barlow show with Graham Norton and Sue presents a quiz about names whose name, ironically, escapes me.

I did think it odd they said on BBC Radio news today that Mary is "staying at the BBC", as that would suggest they have something in the works for her.

You're thinking of the 4 O'Clock Show, axed in April 2015.

Mel also has her "Eurovish" role at the BBC, and Sue not only hosts Insert Name Here for BBC TV but also Dilemma for Radio 4.

A number of users on Twitter reporting of terse exchanges between James Purcell and Jay Hunt at the RTS conference today with Jay Hunt essentially blaming the BBC for allowing its relationship with Love to deteriorate so badly.

Absolute fireworks... astonishing slug-fest...

The last 30 secs was probably the most 'slug-fest' section of the discussion where Purnell and Hunt really went at it.
