Surely by 2012 switchover will be completed anyway, hence everyone will have the Freeview channels, or will it complete later in 2012, after the olympics?
By August 2012, the Tyne Tees and Ulster regions will still not have switched. Tyne Tees is due autumn 2012, and there's a possibility that Ulster might even slip to the beginning of 2013.

Even if they could, why would they want to show it on Sky Three, the whole point of Sky having it is to get subscriptions?
Murdoch COULD do something clever, and say he could provide coverage, IE using his slots on free view, thus, Sky 3 could be used for world cup.

Sorry to go off topic, but what is TX Media? I've heard this name in connection with something else recently.
TX Media are behind some of the biggest television programmes and advertisements on television but they like to keep quiet about them and in some cases have even allowed other companies to take the credit for them.
For example, they made the BBC Three show Mongrels but they let the BBC take credit. They were also behind last months successful one-off Challenge Anneka special on ITV1. It is amazing how many people don't even remember this despite it only being last month.
They produced The Ladies No 1 Detective Agency but this downmarket website makes the obviously false claim that it is 'a collaboration of the BBC, HBO Entertainment and The Weinstein Company in association with Mirage Enterprises and Cinechicks.'

Unless TX Media has completed an audacious swoop?

I didn't even know that was on at all. I thought the last Challenge Anneka revival was about 4 years ago!

Maybe this is the time to confess. I didn't know it was on and I didn't see it either but it must have been on, why would TXMedia lie about something like that?

Aren't they a PR company?

In other words they are used by independent production companies and other media production companies to promote their shows.
Taylor Herring do the same thing for shows like The Apprentice I believe?
Either I'm misunderstanding, or there are multiple TX Media companies (not inconceivable, it's a name many would think up), but the above don't seem to be a programme production company (though they may produce content for promotional purposes - but that's not the same thing)
