Hi everyone!

The name's Katherine. I'm new to this forum and I'm writing to ask all BBC Look North viewers what your opinion is on weather man Paul Hudson? Is he better than Trevor Appleton?

I don't know if any of you will believe this, but I have a seriously big crush on Mr. Hudson, I am by nature rather eccentric, and look forward immensely to his lunctime banter with Peter 'jealous of Paul' Levy. I've had an e-mail read out on the lunchtime show and created his Hud the Stud nickname! When Look North did their rather wet live broadcast from Skegness recently, I travelled half an hour up the railway line from my home in Boston especially to see him.

Paul, if you ever read this, you're a total honey!

Yes, Paul is nice! (and a v. good presenter and forecaster, too - he's just the same in real life as he is on screen!). Bit too old for me though!

Don't forget your appointment at Specsavers, 10am Monday morning.

I have a bit of a thing for one or two News 24 newsreaders...Wink

...but not a crush as to follow them about! Wink

24 in 8 weeks time! I was born on October 5th 1977.

Square Eyes, when you say:

My mum has said the same!

Well you should listen to your mother. I know this is going to be difficult for you, but a fixation with Paul Hudson the weatherman is just not healthy.

Perhaps you should redirect your affections to Harry Gration, a much more stabling influence.

I always seem to see Harry whenever I'm out shopping in York on a Sunday! I've seen him the last 2 Sundays and both times were, I should add, both purely by chance!

If I were you, I would go shopping in a different town to avoid such an embarrasing encounter.

I don't ever say hello! Might think twice if it was Paul Hudson or Ian White (who apparently looks 10x better off-screen), though! Very Happy

Welcome to the forum.
24 eh? That's ancient compared to some of the members of this forum.
Apart from Andrew Wood, he's well past it. Aren't you Andrew?

I've been to Specsavers once or twice, but after I started getting funny looks from the eye bloke I left and go to Boots now. (couldnt have been the hair, could it?)

Square Eyes, your Monkey section is very good!
