I take it there are 2 different stings which are used by Look North (leeds). The one which I have, which uses the same tune as the North West Tonight sting. But whats the other one, when is it used, and does anyone have a clip of it?

Please let me know if you can get it for me!

Also, does Look East use a 'still to come sting'?

This is a question which would be better answered if TV Home was up and running!

Basically, all the regions use that 'Still to Come' sting, and some use it as short opening titles as well. When Look North first went corporate they used this sting for the short titles but then dropped it, It can now only be heard as a Still to Come sting.

Look North introduced another sting which is now used all the time for the Afternoon 3.25 and 10.25 bulletins, It is quite different and it features some beats at the end.
Both stings were on TV Home

Oh right thanks!!

Actually North West Tonight only has one sting - the one with the beats on the end. Thats where I was getting confused as this is to me the still to come sting! You mean the one without the beats

I don't remeber it being on TV Home, as I have all the regional downloads from there.

OK, If you downloaded the Newsroom South East file which is 138kb big, This is the 'Still to Come' Sting, I'm not sure if NRSE use it for opening titles

If you have a look at the Look North download which is 157kb big, This is the 'end-beats' version which Look North use as short opening titles for 1525 and 2225.

Robert De Rosa had a BBC SOUTH TODAY ending titles thingy. I think he posted it on a forum thread on this site. Anway, the BBC SOUTH TODAY ending titles, have a great whistly beat right to the end, which is great, and not used on BBC LOOK NORTH.
Can anyone make an extended whstle end beat, for me please. It is great!
BBC LOOK NORTH have a normal beat.

No. My cousin died on Thursday, so I had to fly out and attend a funeral. I'm going next Saturday, the producer said it'll be fine.

Yes thanks! Very kind of you to say something!
Going back to the topic, before we get told off...
Can anyone make BBC SOUTH TODAY ending credits into an extended theme? (I like the whistly beats at the end!)
Thanks again
