It's not called BBC London News ... IT's JUST 'BBC London'

The whole of the operation there is being rebranded (the radio station and the website, along with TV) to just BBC London ...

And as Nicky said ... watch out on billboards for BBC LDN ...

not just on billboards ....
I could tell you all that I know but that would spoil all the fun ...
titles are interesting!

Yes, I heard the titles are 'interesting' yet won't be seen until the big day - unlike the colour scheme and set which will be seen on trailers in the coming week. Londoners at the ready!

I assume the fishtank is the thing which you initially hate but it starts to grow on you? (As someone explained on MHP)

Cheers, Asa

Ooooooooh! Don't tell me anything!

I bet the titles are a sequence of 'lifestyle' poses by affluent thirtysomethings, like on Channel 4's cricket prog.

Yes - for the first time as well, they're aiming the whole thing (correct me if I'm wrong) to the same audience ... Online, Radio and TV ... and trying lots of cross promotion tricks I hear ...

Promotion isn't bad as words go.

But for me, the word that really takes the biscuit is...

Scintillating !

Even with these changes, will it still follow the corporate philosiphy as one director calls it

Different colours, music etc

but still beeps, rings, and Graphic set

Presenters?? What!!?? That line up looks awful - a male presenter somewhere would have been good in the interests of balance. Nina Hussein is a terrible presenter, and Gillian Joseph must be slightly mad she has only got the 10 slot, shes currently the main presenter of the 6.30 show. I'm slighlty surprised they havent offered her some News 24 shifts at the very least like they did with Mike Embley, Gwenan Edwards and Martine Croxall.
