Bit a backward step isn't it? LDN was the template for the rest of the regions, and now it seems as if they are to become a carbon copy in all but set.

Maybe, but I'd imagine it will be just a modified version of the current titles because Look East moved from the red/yellow titles of the rest of the English regions towards the LDN look (except with colour images of The Forum). I think Midlands Today might also follow the Look East/London look but that's only a guess.

Well put! Every region should have a quality service.

Sadly BBC North East always seems to have been one of the regions most suffering from lack of funding, even having to use programs from BBC North (Leeds) to fill in the regional slot from time to time.

As BBC LONDON is getting a makeover tonight will there be 2 presenters or just one?

I like it when they have 2 presenters instead of 1 because it gives it more atmosphere and feeling.

One last thing will the set have a 'sofa bench' thingy like LT?

I think they've made a mistake getting rid of the LDN letters. As stupid as it looked, they did succeed in making a "mini-brand" that was well recognised.

Why did the beeb give into those moany spellnicks on these forums, and destroy the good LDN brand. It now seems all to generic.

The logo is TOO big now, and the new opening bed seems a little odd...
