BBC Learning Zone

not sure how long this has been going - saw it a few weeks back but didn't manage to get a capture. it seems to be used randomly, interspersed with the regular learning zone ident.

anyway, its rather nice and cheery - and not a bbc one/two style box in sight.

A very nice effort I must say.
I’m surprised that they’ve made a new one though, I’m sure that last year there was (seeminly unfounded) talk on the forum that there might be a whole new look to the LZ.

Interesting to see that they used the short forum-up version of the music, the longer (and rarely used) music would have fitted nicely.

the "new look" consisted of new zoning of programmes with (i think) colour co-ordinated menu's to match - although still using the ident we all know and love.

They've made quite a few of these 'seasonal' idents, what I don't understand is why they use the original ident along with the new ones.

Not sure about them.. there's nothing wrong with the old/current idents - they're quite clever..
