and the way Jules did a two way with a guest, and then told us that the guest would be on London Live after BBC LDN, with a live shot of the radio studio in the plasma.
BTW, what an odd story to begin BBC LDN with - tube dust!
I actually thought it was a really good story for once. It was hugely consumer friendly about the rsik of the dust. Made me think about the health risks of the tube which I have never done before.
BBC London 94.9 must be over the moon with all the plugs.
Emily is excellent, and they even have there own soft area-Emily walks down the spiral staircase into the right of the 2 red chairs-and Mark Bright, the sport presenter reads out the sport and there's even Banter Katherine!
'And if you ever wondered what the BBC London 94.9 studio looked like-there it is'
Overall, it's very good, the music is superb, streets ahead of the old regional news music, but I'm not convinced about all this standing up, the interview seemed particularly odd done this way.

If you're not in LDN, then you're missing out on a treat!
The programme is a vast improvement on anything that been seen before, and the music bed used is superb - although still distinctly corporate.
The new 'red' titles are great and work so much better that the 'old' regional ones (which I never really thought worked that well)
It's a very different approach and style, has a great new presenter in Emily Maitlis - and after just one show, I love it!
