I think Alice and her corporation is completly within its rights to clamp down on copyright flouters such as TV Home & similar sites. I'm suprised it has taken this long for the television companies to react to the lawbreakers.

To be honest the arrogance of Mr Hicks and his mates down at MHP is quite shameful. He says that he won't do anything about the files (MP3's) on TV Home, until he is formerly notified.

So in Asa's dreamworld its fine and dandy to break the law until your're told off. Just because everyone else flouts the copyright laws it dosen't make it morally or legally right.

Last weekend I removed all the MP3's from Identz on legal advice, and I'm now about to contact the BBC to see if the files may return on-site with the copyright watermark. I lost site of the purpose of Identz - its above all an educational website, not an MP3 resource for the internet anoraks.

From now on, if you want 'dodgy' MP3's - you can go and find them elsewhere.

I know for a fact that MP3's from Identz have been used without permission in various personal/commercial projects by people who have downloaded them, which is highly illegal, and I apologise unreservedly to the BBC and Independent TV News for my utter and sheer stupidity for doing this. I can assure everyone here & now that this will not happen again from myself.

I dont see any problems with people using video clips and MP3s as as long as you put copyright to the owner, and dont make any profit out of it, it's perfectly legal.

Clear now?
Yes indeed.

But have you really thought this though? It's a bit of a silly suggestion to think that the BBC will make the idents and not show them just in case there's 50 or so people out there with their fingers on a capture card. Even more with videos. Its unthinkable is it not?

What next? The BBC coming to the Forum saying, 'This is BBC 1. We have a brand new look for the coming season, but you guys are leeches so it wont be broadcast. Get your idents from someone else.'http://web.ukonline.co.uk/tv.home/forum/emoticons/biggrin.gif

Seriously though, Alice (through the looking glass I presume - nice touch) is a hoax. Lets let this one die, shall we?

Dead and buried! Though it did seem a bit ironic...

No, this no laughing matter...

I think Max meant his first draft of the post, because looking at the original post, I fail to see how he made the gramatical error he now wants us to believe.

Cast your minds back a couple of months, when Max very maturely posted this:

There were other similar comments made by Max, but I cannot be arsed to trawl the forum and google archives looking for his insane spoutings.
