Broken? (March 2018)

Trying to watch BBC Four HD and BBC News HD on BT TV and it’s come up with the press red prompt and the signal quality is good, but a blank screen. Any ideas?

There was a Freeview retune in the Midlands and North West today. Have you tried retuning?

I’ll give it a go. Should automatically retune!

The COM7 and COM8 muxes are being moved around a bit - and the channels on them are being redistributed. Chances are you need to do a re-tune/re-scan.

Yes, though normally overnight while in standby. The night before last there where frequency moves
for COM 7 and/or 8 at Sutton Coldfield, Winter Hill, and Fenton, (plus the local Brum mux moving too)

I suspect the transmitters were dead when your box performed its overnight scan, hence the need for a manual scan (or wait another 24 hours)

Advance warning: COM 7 and 8 (plus other changes) for the London and the Meridian South regions on March 21
