Hi Folks ... My first post. I have visited on numerous occasions and have noticed how critical everyone is of mocks.

So here it is, my first mock - please be gentle with me!

If you like it, I have made a fully animated file in wmv. The movie lasts for 14 seconds and is 0.7mb in size.

Let me know what you think. Thanks, Caroline

I like it! Well done. But the wrong forum Laughing Laughing Laughing

The animaton is excellent, I could imaginge it going well with the Ribbons ident music, for more serious news specials/bulletins

I think it looks great! Very stylish, building on the strengths of the old COW ident. If only Pam Masters/Lorraine Heggesy and their BBC empire weren't so completely taken in by everything that Martin Lambie Nairn comes up with, we might get somewhere with it !!

i think that this is great, i had forgotten how classy the globe actully looks, (I hope you're reading this Heggesy)
For your first mock, its so much better than the some of the other 'first mocks' , what software did you use?

I love it. Little tip: Laughing maybe making the land on the world red to make it look more BBC One like. I like the idea of there not being any red box.

People are usually only critical when something is crap; this is outstanding and I'd love to see it on screen!

What other words can I say - absolutely fantastic! Give me your details and I will forward them to the BBC so you can take over from Heggessey.

Just one thing missing - a clock. But I can see a great clock to match as well. Sheer genius!

Taking onboard Antz's comments, perhaps the red would be more 'Hegessy'

but the classic COW yellow is so much better

apologies if you feel offended by me changing your mock.

Well you know Lorraine, if she was to do bring in a globe at all, no doubt she would choose red Rolling Eyes . I prefer the yellow one Catherine made though Very Happy
