Any idea when the music from BBC Four News will be online.
Plus why do BBC World refer to EVERYTHING as BBC World News. They should call the normal bulitins BBC News, call World today, The World Today and call BBC Four News BBC World News.
Or maybe even BBC Four News.

I hope someone will have it in an MP3 file soon! I love that music! BBC World do not call BBC News 'BBC World News' all the time. Most of the time it's just, 'Hello and welcome to BBC News, I'm ...'
The World Today is called The World Today on BBC World (or am I wrong? I mean, why call it BBC News when Martine constantly goes on about it being the World Today!)
IT
To be honest, I've never heard them say 'Welcome to BBC News', its always 'BBC World News'. The only time they say BBC News is overnight, and they use 'Hello, I'm x with a summary of the world news' for the BBC World News Summaries.

Actually, I've just been thinking - a while ago, (about a year) they used to use the World News opening titles with the announcer saying 'BBC News next on BBC World' before the top of the hour. Then, they changed it to 'World News next on BBC World'. After they ditched the idea of the News titles, and opted for the Symbol/Ident backing the trailer, they have gone back to saying 'BBC News is next on BBC World'. So I don't think they can make their mind up!
I think they should say 'This is BBC World News' overnight, as its it would not mean the news of BBC World, but the world news of the BBC, if you follow my drift!

HA
I think you are right itsrobert, the other day the breakfiller failed to play, so we were treated to the static graphic with the schedule and basically for the 11pm and 12am bulletins, it said 'BBC World News', but from 1am it was 'BBC News'!!!

Well that mucks my site up then as I have a section of BBC News and one for BBC World News (George Alagiah!)
IT
No, your site is fine. In essence it is BBC News, and on the titles, it says 'BBC NEWS' and then 'BBC WORLD'!
Have any of you been on a trans-atlantic flight with British Airways? They start the in-flight entertainment with BBC World News, and I remember seeing the flags era a few years ago on the plane! However, they also now have a programme called BBC World Newsweek, which is usually recorded sometime on a Saturday afternoon, and on those titles, they have:
'BBC World
Newsweek'
This looks pretty good. The intro sequence is the titles, then the headlines, but followed by the tag instead of a sting, and the only other piece of presentation is the normal World News end titles, but with 'BBC World Newsweek' on it.
I think they should replace 'This Week' on BBC World with this special bulletin, as it does pretty much the same thing!
