Will it be on January 1?
Do you really expect some hungover technician to stick the new CD music in on New Years' Day?? Yeah, me too http://web.ukonline.co.uk/tv.home/forum/emoticons/biggrin.gif

Cheers, Asa

What are you trying to say Asa?? Ha ha Smile

Oh that's right, you could be one of those hungover technitions couldn't you!http://web.ukonline.co.uk/tv.home/forum/emoticons/biggrin.gif

The only thing about the TWT music that gets on my nerves (or that is to say, will get on my nerves) is that it seems to be more suited for morning bulletins. Ya know, a more softer version of the main theme. Also, I don't know if you've seen it, but on BBC World right after TWT is broadcasted, an hour of 'BBC News' - titles and all is shown a la TWT style, and I don't like it.

Oh well... I might as well get use to it, eh? Smile

2 hours, actually.. and yes, I remember it did seem weird, especially that it went out at 1pm Hong Kong time, and was actually advertised as a breakfast programme!

And I suppose this new BBC Four one will go out in the middle of the night in East Asia & Austrailia.

Erm, is it possible to tell us if it's similar to BBC World, or different?

There it goes again!

EVERY BBC EMPLOYEE seems to have that phrase imprinted in their minds. Its like all new BBC workers are hypnotised before they pass the tests to work at the Beeb.

All BBC Employees must agree to the following in thier contract:

[list]
[*] Love the BBC and accept no critisism of it
[*] Always reply to awkward questions about BBC presentation with 'I couldn't possibly say!'
[*] Get paid ridiculous amounts of money for a p*ss
easy job

Where do I sign? Wink

No, I could never work for the BBC - I have too much to criticise them about. Uncle Greg would chuck me out. Smile

IMHO i think it shouldnt be called bbc world news or bbc news - it needs a a name that is equivilant to newsnight - like the world tonight - or something like that in order to have a hope in hells chance of getting anyviewers (to differentiate itself from news24)
