BBC ONLINE have a webpage about BBC FOUR. It's nothing big but does say that it will be launching early 2002 and what you can expect from the channel. It's quite interesting and worth a look.

Any comments.

I know what id like to have in the free 18 hours, the history of BBC or something, they could have all the classic logos but I know it would neva happen!

Well it says 'nightly international news', so where else can that come from?!

The younger children's channel will take up the bandwidth from 6am-7pm, although there was some talk of a business breakfast programme or a BBC World News bulletin at 6am. 1-6am will no doubt just be a downtime caption.

Good to see the logo still fits in with the current corporate style - |B|B|C| FOUR - though what will they do if they can't launch BBC THREE????

It's a nightly news programme at 7.00pm, produced by the BBC World News team - but it's not a simulcast with BBC World!!!

Sorry for making three consecutive posts!

Yes! Come on BBC, wake up and let us see more of BBC World in the UK! And make that pronto!

Honestly, do I really have to go on holiday just to watch the news? (if you see what I mean).

BBC Four will be wriitten in corporte style, but then so will BBC One in whatever idents replace the balloons. No clue about Four's idents except that red is involved. As for BBC Three, I think that'll launch at the same time - that's why the BBC haven't got an exact date for Four yet.
