We talk about credit-squeezing on the rise, but now it's just getting silly - ECPs are popping up when they aren't even meant to -- when there are no credits!
BBC FOUR was finishing up for the night, but instead of the usual caption after the final ident, it faded out to a mute 'Next' promo for a programme that had already been shown...
It then shortly swept off the screen leaving just under a minute of pure darkness before the intended downtime caption finally appeared. Video can be seen HERE but with the lengthy black period cut down.
Also I do find it slightly annoying how the audio is dipped down so much during the idents generally, that you can barely hear it (often, you straight can't hear anything of it at all)- apparently the music was designed with minimum fading down in mind but, what can you do.
Pres aside, programming-wise there are occasionally some real gems in the schedule. Seems to be more worth viewing than on BBC THREE.
