Damn. I'd forgotten about the 1974 one. I thought it was next Friday. I'd bought a stack of tapes for it last night aswell!

Would anybody be willing to copy it for me?!?! (Please e-Mail me if so - you will be adequately reimbursed!)

Looks like this weeks is in cropporama mode! Evil or Very Mad Evil or Very Mad Evil or Very Mad Evil or Very Mad Evil or Very Mad Evil or Very Mad Evil or Very Mad Evil or Very Mad Evil or Very Mad

4:3 on DSat at 1045. (Albeit in 12P16)

Yes, looks like it's changed to 4:3 again. When did this happen? It was still cropporama when I left at 9:50, so it changed some time between then and 10:45. Looked like the cropporama could have been in error looking at the "1974" DOG- it was elongated and outside the 4:3 safe zone.

It is on until just after 9pm, so maybe all is not lost. I have the first two hours on tape if you want - pm me.

I had forgotton quite how dreadful Mike Yarwood was.And to think at the time he was one of the higest paid performers on TV.

At 10.25am it switched from 14:9 to 4:3, leaving the '1974' logo out of the frame. If that isn't bizarre enough, at 10.28 it literally 'walked' back into the picture!

Just seen Keith Graves with a full head of hair! Quite fab!

Don't know if anyone has spotted any other Reporting or news casting folk in their early years?

I wonder why the news bulletin has been cut out, yet the weather left in!?

Tsk @ all the smoking going on..... very potentially flammable stuff in a studio....

The reason the news was not included is probably that Network Control would have done the cut to the news studio, whereas the weather was presented (bizarrely) from the election studio. The recording is most likely studio output and not network output.

Not really. She has been in most of them

To say nothing of the casual drinking of alcohol in the morning.

I hope all you Sky digitalists are enjoying the fullscreen view - I've got a stunning quarter screen image on DTT Sad

I see BBC NI was still on B/W in 1974...
