In your opinion, what can the BBC do to improve BBC1's current daytime schedule. Frankly I think it is shocking and is ITV. Channel 4 copes not too bad with daytime nor does BBC2. Perhaps a return to the old talkshow? Or has that been done to death?
In the last few days I have sat feeling very low and depressed. I turn TV on to cheer me up and BBC1 has a mind numbing mix of s.h.i.t and more s.h.i.t. They are all exactly the same format but with different titles. Surely they realise this don't they?
ITV1 has "This Morning" much better and sometimes entertaining. At the moment though, life is ****. Mine needs to self destruct. TV does not help.

at least CH4 has school from 09.30 - noon news, comdy then a film if no sport like racing . But I can't say much for ITV daytime after 1.30pm its poor with somewhat reality show like mums on stike or i used to be a person from a another life
Has anyone eles notice that on BANK hoildays, daytime show have creep in like loose woman when there would'nt normal be shown.

14.50-15.30 Murder Mystery
15.30-16.00 Flog It / Escape to the Country
16.00-16.45 Ready Steady Cook (New Series)

Below is my idea for BBC TWO daytime television bringing in a bit of continuity to the channel, with children's programming purely on the channel, and also give it more of a specific choice of programmes rather than a complete mix, as it as the moment:

10.00-11.30 School Programming (Similar to the Learning Zone)
11.30-12.30 The Daily Politics
12.30-13.30 Working Lunch
13.30-15.30 Sport/Film
15.30-15.35 News Update

Thats a relief.
Still think the programmes have the same format/theme as to whats shown today, and thats pretty dire.
In the Afternoon, i'd have more series of the Afternoon Play, when Doctors isnt on, and better shows in the morning.
